Chainsaw Safety Training

Basic rate for instruction:
	3 day Intermediate Course (min 5, max 8 students)	$425/student
	2 day Basic Course (min 5, max 8 students)	$300/student
	1 day Awareness Course (min 5, max 8 students)	$200/student
	Recertification (min variable, max 8)	$200/student
WTA Registration & Manual:		$50/student
WTA Registration for Recertification:		$37/student
Travel return from Christopher Lake, SK:		$0.65/km**
Travel on Saskatchewan highways 905, 914 & 955:		$0.85/km**
Travel on Athabasca Seasonal Road and other winter roads:		$1.50/km**
Meals during course, travel & set-up:		$50/day**

Custom Milling

• $175/1000bf for timbers 4x6 to 10x6
• $195/1000bf for 2" lumber larger than 2x5
• $230/1000bf for 1" lumber

• if you want to take the slabs home: $10/cord for handling & banding

Firewood Delivery

• $35 to Emma & Christopher Lakes
• $55 to PA, Waskesiu and Anglin Lakes
• $75 to Candle Lake
• Other locations $1.50/km

Firewood Processing Service

• processing: $75/cord of logs**
• travel with processor: $1.50/km one way
• daily travel: $0.65/km one way
• scaling: no charge
• accommodation & meals: lowest reasonable price added to bill (when travel time from home is approx. 1 ¼ hrs )

** logs will be scaled according to the Saskatchewan Scaling Manual’s guidelines for stack scaling.

Firewood Stacking Service

• $60 per cord

Harvesting

• from $25/m³ , price varies with degree of selection harvest, skid distance, tree size and site ($25/m³ which equals approx. $60/cord or $110/1000bf)
• travel with equipment: $1.50/km one way
• daily travel: $0.65/km one way

Lumber

• birch, air dry, rough 1x6x8: $6.00 ea
• birch, air dry, rough 3x6x8 $15.00 ea
• spruce 3x10x16 $28.00 ea
• spruce 3x12x16 $33.60 ea

Marketing

• advice and list of buyers: no charge
• no charge brokering for clients: let me help you sell your lumber.

Mobile Sawmill Service

• mill: $55/hr
• travel with mill: $1.50/km one way
• daily travel: $0.65/km one way
• accommodation & meals: lowest reasonable price added to bill (when travel time from home is approx. 1 ¼ hrs )
• broken teeth due to foreign objects: $7.00 each (both blades have 6 teeth each)
• shanks $16 (occasionally broken by nails)
• banding: $1.25/ ¾” steel band
• tractor: $1.50/km one way haul + operation billed as milling time at $55/hr

Other Deliveries

• $2.00/km
• max 3,500 bf/load

Purchase Standing Trees

• $7.20/m³ for tops 5" - 8" (approx. $17/cord)

Tree Marking
